About Us
Aloha Wind
Aloha Wind is a Polynesian dance group based in the greater central Iowa. Aloha Wind has a strong presence in Des Moines, Ames, and surrounding communities.
We perform a variety of dances from Hawaii and Tahiti. Aloha Wind's goals are to educate, as well as to entertain, our audiences about the beauty, power, and diversity of the dances of the South Pacific.
Aloha Wind is available for parties, luaus, receptions, banquets, and anniversaries, and provides tasteful entertainment for all ages.
Hawaiian Disney Characters
New to Aloha Wind are our Hawaiian Disney Characters. Great for any event or birthday party. Our characters are Kanaka Maoli (ethnically Hawaiian) and know about Hawaiian culture. If you are worried about cultural appropriation worry no more as all of our themed characters are Hawaiian and do a great job of educating!
